Among all kinds of plastic moulds we made before,plastic bucket mould is one of the most products we made.we are good at designing and manufacturing this kind of plastic bucket mould,such as water bucket mould,paint bucket mould and mop bucket mould.
we think frist important is choosing a good and suitable mould steel.To make high quality bucket mould,normally we will use 2738 with HRC 33-38,and the sliders will to be nitrided,then this mould life will have 1 million shots.If you need higher standard mould than 1.2738,we recomend 2344,with HRC 52-56,can reach to 3 million shots.but if you only need hundreds thousands pieces of production quantity,there is no need to use that steel,P20 is OK.
We need make good cooling system,for the bucket mould core,design the cooling channel up to surface 15mm below the moulding surface,and the diameter of the bucket mould cooling channel should be more than 12mm diameter,so that the water can be run flow smoothly in the channel when take away the heat from the core.For the bucket mould cavity cooling,also should design the best cooling for cool down the hot runner tip area.For paint bucket mould sliders,make the cooling channel more close to the crate moulding area.
we also can use moldmax material for the critical area,Becu has good thermal conductivity,eventhough,the mould price is more higher than mould without Becu,but the good cooling can help make the bucket very beautiful.
