when we get the plastic part 3D/2D drawing from our customer,we will study and analysis,to find are there have any problem,have enough draft angle,thickness ok?texture?we also will make mould flow analyzing if nessary.Then we will design the 3D mould drawing,based on customer’s injection machine’s parameters,special requirements,pay more attention to the ejetion system,cooling system and other detail things,Then send drawing to our customer for confirm.when we get the design approval from our customer,we will start to cut steel,if need,we can send steel certificate.
During the mould manufature,we will send mould process photos weekly.After testing mould send sample to our customer untill approval,Normally 3 times enough.Before shipping mould,we will send mould testing report,testing video and mould drawing with CD to our customer.

For the plastic mould component subject to damage or break,sometimes it has to be designed as custom-made component that means it is not available to get replacing part from commercial market.The plastic mould designer should put this kind of component into spart part list,and plastic mould maker provides customer with some sets of parts before plastic mould leves.For example.custom-built slider base of lifter,insert with fragile area,ejector pins of additional quantity and so on.
On the other case,some customers request spare parts of thermocouples,tip bush of hot runner system.The plastic mould designer should realize the request when you make drawing and steel order.
Select type of steel and its heat treatment or surface treatment procedure is quite important to ensure the quality and working life of a plastic mould.Acoording to customer request,we should select acceptable standard of steel suppliar including Europe,USA,Japan,Korea and China and so on.Moulding components to be grained or not is also reference for steel selection.Therefore,it is good to provide steel certificate to prove the steel in the request.
For some plastic mould components,it must have higher hardness to protect inside of mould under higher injection pressure,such as parting line protection plates,angle location plates and interlock.etc.For the two components that have friction each other,it required hardness difference or have nitride on one side to avoide galling,For example,it applies nitride on slides and lifters.All moulding components which can not be grained will be of a conventional material and possibly protected with a surface treatment in order to improve the mechanical properties.
To proce the treatment that has been applied on the mould components,it can provide according certificate.
