SMC/BMC can be painted through conventional painting process including baking and drying. Parts are often painted with a two pack PU paint and oven cured at 80-100degree.

It is important to keep in mind that PAINTING is not an operation that can hide defect.

The complete process from designing, material choosing, moulding, trimming and painting(include washing and surface preparation) must be considered, because every step in the manufacturing process affects the next.
